Charboost Mediation

This guide will systematically walk you through the process of integrating Chartboost Mediation with our platform.

Login in Chartboost Mediation Account
Enter in the Apps Management section
Check that your app is listed there and properly approved. If not, add new app and conta ct your AM in chartboost to be sure that its going to be approved. Sending traffic to non-approved apps could incur in traffic consumed but not paid by chartboost.
Once you have completed this step, you might enter again in the menu and choose the Mediation option.
In Helium (Chartboost Mediation) UI you need to Add Heliuem App.
And then import it from the list below. (Chartboost Apps)
Later, you must enter in the Networks option, select network and pick google bidding.
Then you put the Google Bidding App ID (Admob's app ID) and then you press Sing in with Google.
Use your Admob credentials to log in and then accept the permissions (4) asked by Chartboost.
Go to placement and create New placement.
Assign an Ad Placement Name and press Save Placement.
You will be redirected to this page were you need to click again in Manage Placement and choose the one you have just created.
Then you choose Select Network, Google Bidding. You drill down the + Created Ad Unit, and you pick the option + Generate Ad Unit.
An d Unit ID will appear once it's been created. Then you must choose it and press + and Save Placement.
You must repeat 10 to 14 to create ad many placement as you need. You could have more than 1 placement per AdType in case you are managing them separately in X3M.
One you have finished the setup of all the placements, you need to active the app
You are all set in Chartboost Mediation. Now you need to set it up in X3M. To do that, login in X3M and in the partners section at the account level enable the partner.
Now you need to create a new instance in the application -> instance section, defining as the ID the name of the placement you created in Chartboost Mediation.
Finally you will add this/these instance/s in the waterfalls, as any other instance you create in X3M
